5 May 2008
The event, co-ordinated by the TUC and its 26 affiliated unions with members in the public sector, will bring together a range of workers including civil servants, teachers, health workers, probation officers, social workers and firefighters.
The event, which starts with a rally in Central Hall Westminster at 1pm on Monday 9 June 2008, will focus on the future of our public services and the need for fair pay.
Public sector workers will then head over to parliament to remind their MPs that public servants make a huge contribution to UK society and the economy, and that this work should be fairly rewarded and properly valued.
