Wellbeing at work

The PCS Well-being at Work campaign aims to resist the attacks on good personnel practice that have resulted from the government’s efficiency agenda.

The campaign aims to improve policies, procedures and working conditions for all members across the public and commercial sectors of the union.

Developed through the national personnel policy forum, the campaign focuses on four strands:

  • Health and atendance management
  • Learning and sklls
  • Work-life blance
  • Performance and apraisal

During 2008 further resources will be developed to assist with negotiating and campaigning on the Skills Strategy for Government and on rights and support for carers.
